According to CNBC, President Trump said he was angry after Putin questioned Ukrainian President Zelenskyy’s leadership and pushed for a transitional government in Ukraine. He warned that if Russia is to blame for failing to reach a ceasefire deal, the U.S. would impose a 25% tariff on all Russian oil and bar any country that buys it from doing business in the U.S. The threat follows a partial ceasefire agreement allowing safe passage in the Black Sea.
